Carmel Ben-Or
A multidisciplinary artist working in video, sculpture, and painting.
Her works, exploring themes of body and soul, have been exhibited in several exhibitions, including "Gravity and Grace" (Parterre Gallery, 2022, curated by Roi Brand), "Duo" (Alma Gallery, 2023, curated by Tsivi Geva), "Ghost Chasers" (Makom L'Omanut Gallery, 2023, curated by Daniel Tsedaka Cohen), and are held in private collections in Israel and abroad including the Tel Aviv Museum collection.
From 2022-2023, she participated in the "Alma Fellows - A Home for Hebrew Culture" program. From 2018-2020, she studied painting at the "Jerusalem Studio for Painting and Drawing." From 2017-2021, she studied sculpture with the artist Avner Levinson.
Currently, she teaches sculpture at the Atelier School and painting at the Tel Aviv Artists' House.
